BACKGROUND
Established in 1985, Koos Manufacturing, Inc. is a premier denim jeans designer, manufacturer and distributor. Owner of the AG and Big Star jean brands, the company employs over 2000 personnel in two factories, one in California and the other in Mexico. 

CHALLENGE
Operations in Koos were based on many different legacy systems, which prevented the availability of reliable, integrated data. Lack of synchronization presented major challenges, such as where orders were actually located, the actual status or orders at any given time, and the availability of products in the warehouse management system. And even though the company brought the systems into the JD Edwards (JDE) platform, they still needed a solution to ensure that all relevant data would be integrated in the JDE platform. 

Additionally, Koos sought to improve customer service and operational efficiency by automating processes across eCommerce and ERP systems, including Oracle’s JDE EnterpriseOne, Onestop, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (previously known as Demandware) and CyberSource Decision Manager (payment gateway and fraud management solution).
